PatiFone is a small ‘drag & drop’ application, which performs a simple (but needed) task: it plays sounds in files you drag (and drop, hopefully) over it.
How to PatiFone
simply, drag and drop any file (a document, an application, whatever) over PatiFone. If there are no sounds in that file, you’ll be duly notified and you and PatiFone shall part to the sound of your system’s BEEP. If, however, there are sounds in a file, PatiFone will present you with a dialog-box, listing all the sounds in that fortunate file. Now, all you have to know is to double click the sound you want to hear. When you’re fed-up, click “Quit” to amicably depart (i.e. quit).
What sort of sounds does PatiFone play?
* Any file with an “snd.” (system 7 sound source) source.
* Files in AIFF or AIFF-C format.
System Requirements:
* 250k or RAM. This is the default allocated memory. You may allocate more... it is not recommended to allocate less.
* System 7.x and more. To be honest, we didn’t check it up with System 6, but we’re pretty sure it’ll crash if you do.
* Any computer from a Classic and up. We’ve tested PatiFone on several 6100 PowerMACs under System 7.5, an LC III with System 7.1 and a IIci with System 7.1.
Legal Mumbo-Jumbo
1. All rights to PatiFone belong to Eyal Redler. Eyal Redler has given full distribution rights to “Aristo” of 16 Idelson st. in Israel. Any other distributor should ask for Eyal Redler’s permission in writing.
2. This is a Shareware. If you use this programme regularly (or not regularly, but on a regular basis) please send Eyal Redler $8 US to: 25 Habanim St. Hod Hasharon, Israel 45102 or to Ori Redler, 16 Idelson st. Hod Hasharon 63140.
3. Zoe Online costumers are hereby granted free usage licence to PatiFone in two conditions: A. that PatiFone will always be accompanied with this Read Me file (unchanged) and B. The person\s to whom PatiFone is delivered will not be free from the fee...
4. PatiFone may be distributed and included in CD ROMS, INFO-MAC shareware collection etc. There are, however, some limitations:
A. No extra fee will be charged for PatiFone per-ce (apart from the regular fee to online services, CD ROMS, etc.
B. PatiFone will not be offered at any Online Service in Israel without the Author’s written concession in advance.
Do pay the Shareware fee. Don’t make us put an ugly “Shareware notice” every time you open our next product (:-))
